Just stay in the room for a long time and have breakfast in the room (15 € / pp) is also possible. Give us a call in advance at what time you want it and we will bring a wonderfully filled basket to your room door at the agreed time. Because we notice that guests would like to explore Antwerp in an adventurous way and want a somewhat larger range, we respond to that need and rent out nice city bikes ourselves (€ 15 per bike). This way you avoid having to look for an external rental company and you can get started right away.
Our bicycles (model without tube) have 3 gears, fat tires, a handy basket on the handlebars, lighting and a sturdy chain lock.
To be sure of availability, it is best to book this immediately at the time of the reservation.

Port House (Havenhuis)
The port house is one of the eye-catchers of the Antwerp skyline. The inside is also worth a look. Not to mention the view! Would you like to visit the Port House? During office hours you can take a look at the ground floor without obligation. Do you want to see more of the building? Depart from Het Steen and take the free ferry service to the left bank (also accessible by bicycle) and enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful skyline of Antwerp. You can also get there on foot via the Sint-Annatunnel with its antique wooden escalators , a coveted Instagram spot. Go to the beach of Sint-Anneke (walking dike Linkeroever) A stretch of beach just around the bend in the river on the left bank of the Scheldt. You will also find nice restaurants here, you can enjoy cycling or swimming in the outdoor swimming pool.
You can admire 12 gigantic museum cranes on the Scheldt quays. It is the largest museum collection of harbor cranes in the world. The oldest crane dates from 1907, the youngest from 1963. The cranes were built by 15 different renowned manufacturers from home and abroad and show the rapid technological evolution in the port of the last century. Most of the cranes were protected as monuments. Take a walk there and discover these giants of the old port. You can find the collection on the Rijnkaai, near Hangar 26 and 27.
