MAS Room

The city, the river and the port in one room

This ground floor room was named after the MAS, the 'Museum aan de Stroom'. In this museum you discover Antwerp, the river, the port and the world through a permanent collection and changing exhibitions. The magnificent building itself is worth a visit alone. But also enjoy a drink on the museum square, stroll along the walking boulevard or gaze into the distance from the panoramic roof terrace.

First floor

Red Star Line Room

The great crossing to America, above your headboard

This lovely room on the first floor was given its name by the Red Star Line Museum. The museum takes you through the fascinating history of the Red Star Line, which brought 2.6 million travellers from old Europe to the new, promised land of America between 1873 and 1935. Visiting it, you experience the exciting journey of those emigrants yourself. And from the watchtower you enjoy a magnificent view of Antwerp and its river.

Second floor

De Koninck Room

'Antwerp in a bottle', as a room

A luxurious room on the second floor, named after a beer. Only possible here. Then again, the Bolleke De Koninck is 'the taste of 't Stad': lightly malty with a hint of caramel, a clear, amber-coloured beer with a white head of foam. Or as brewers and connoisseurs say in unison: 'Antwerp in a bottle'.
